Hello everyone! In this blog is about pollution….

Chemical pesticides:

Chemical pesticides have been applied in order to kill pests in crops. However, they might be harmful to humans and animals. They may cause cancer, respiratory issues, neurological damage, reproductive problems, DNA mutations, and many others. Pesticides are not only harmful to human beings but also to non-human species. In fact, some birds like swallows get poisoned by pesticide residues and die after eating insects contaminated by these chemicals.

Plastic bags:

Plastic bags are single-use items that should be disposed properly in order to protect our environment. These bags are made of petroleum derivatives which are extremely damaging to the environment. The plastic materials in these bags don't decompose easily in nature and pollute the soil for years. They also carry toxins and bacteria that can harm human beings.

Toxins from oil spills:

Oil spills are toxic substances that are released from crude oil when it seeps from pipelines and ruptures. When they reach the sea, they pollute the oceans and contaminate marine lives.Oil spills also pollute beaches, estuaries, rivers, and lakes.

Lead battery recycling:

Batteries are one of the most commonly recycled products today. However, if not done properly, batteries create lots of hazardous pollutants when burned. If batteries aren't recycled properly, they release poisonous gases like hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, and carbon monoxide, which are dangerous to human beings and animals. Batteries also release heavy metals like lead, mercury, and chromium.

Fertilizer manufacturing:

Manufacturing fertilizer requires high levels of energy consumption and emits greenhouse gasses. Because of this, factory owners should consider using natural resources instead of fossil fuels. Manufactured fertilizers can also pollute water bodies due to chemical runoff.

Waste incineration:

Incinerating solid wastes doesn't just produce air pollutants like carbon monoxide and particulate matter; it produces hazardous gas emissions. Combustion also releases toxins such as mercury, arsenic, and lead. Incinerators also emit various carcinogens, such as benzene, furans, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

Cyanide:

Cyanide is an extremely hazardous substance that should never be consumed. If ingested, cyanide can cause liver failure, vomiting, abdominal pain, seizures, coma, and death. Unfortunately, some natural products can contain high levels of cyanide. Be sure to always check product labels before consuming anything!

Bleach:

Bleach is a type of bleach that contains sodium hypochlorite. Sodium hypochlorite is a corrosive chemical that attacks skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Exposure to high concentrations of sodium hypochlorite can lead to respiratory issues and irritation of the esophagus. To prevent exposure to these chemicals, avoid using household cleaners that contain bleach. Other items containing bleach include swimming pools and hot tubs.
