As the title itself goes, I am talking about the dreams that have been burried deep down in our hearts. I am pretty sure that if not all, almost of us have had at least one dream that was dear and close to us but time grabbed it away from us slowly but efficiently.
Our dreams even if they are big or small, important or silly it was dear to us, for some it may be buying a guitar, for others an adventure to the north, so on.. So today I would like to express my thoughts on burried dreams through my small poem.
A dream I cherished as a baby girl
Eagerly waiting everyday for it to unfurl
Talking animatedly to all whom I met
Even if to hear, they never really meant
Passion was running deep within
Nobody ever claimed it to be a sin
Some laughed it off as a funny story
Few appreciated with praises and glory
Every moment of dream rolling out
Clear and steady, never had a doubt
The way, path my effort was all sketched
The door to imagination was so stretched
That it forgot to warn me of the time
That could snatch everything in longtime!!
That my dreams although not intentional
Would end up being a story so motivational!!!
For the future generations to hold on to!!
With my twists and turns, my own crew
The story spins out so effortlessly
As if it was meant to be that way only!!
Just a dream deep burried in me
Like a grain of sand in the sea
Just so insignificant but there
Not haunting, but my heart it can tear
May be some day somewhere it may sprout
Find its way up and be free roaming out
Fulfilling all the wishes and thoughts
Still fresh and hope it never rots
Not too old for the next adventure
May it turn out to be a new venture
Catching hold of the wind for support
May the deep burried secret find its port!
This is just a tiny step of hope for our dreams that have been dear to us, long forgotten in our routine life so that we may live upto our dream enjoying the life as we move on finding better reasons to live everyday. I dedicate this to you all who read this and had the hope that your dream has a chance....
