Earlier it was not planned to write this one but on seeing your responses, I got the inspiration to right the this part. Without wasting any time let's break some more health related myths-
- Consumption of dairy products leeds to obesity - This is one of the common myth. Dairy products are essential for our body . They help in the fulfillment of protein and calcium requirements of the body. If you are concerned about the calories intake then you can have low fat milk.
- Eating snacks is unhealthy - The truth is that it depends upon what type of snacks you are eating. If you are having too much oily and packaged food then it can be considered unhealthy . If you are having fruit, dryfruits then your snacks cannot be considered as unhealthy. Try not to consume junk and processed food . Have your snacks in a limited quantity.
- Carbs are bad for body - Many people say that carbs are not good for our body but this does not mean that we should not include carbs in our diet. Carbs are part of a balanced diet.
- You should eat fruits in breakfast - there are some things which should be kept in mind if you are having fruits in breakfast. It is a common myth that having fruits in breakfast help in fulfilling the nutrient requirements of the body. Fruits like orange, grapes, tomato contain vitamin C and eating them empty stomach can lead to the formation of excessive acid and gastric problems. Apple, banana, pomegranate can be eaten in morning but make sure to eat something else before eating them. Try to avoid citric fruits in morning.
- Always have a heavy breakfast - Due to this myth, people eat all the fast food and oily food in breakfast. After eating more than their capacity, it becomes difficult to digest the food and they cannot eat their lunch properly so try to have your breakfast as per the need of the body.
