The Fearful Night : The New Story

Prethiv and his friends decided to have a sleepover at an old abandoned mansion in the woods. Prethiv was skeptical about the idea, but his friends convinced him that it would be a fun adventure. Little did they know, it would be a night they would never forget.

As they arrived at the mansion, they noticed that the doors were slightly ajar. Prethiv's heart started to race as they walked into the living room. The room was dark, and the only light came from the moon shining through the cracks in the boarded-up windows. Suddenly, they heard a faint whisper. It sounded like someone was calling Prethiv.

Prethiv turned around and asked his friends if they had heard it too, but they all shook their heads. "Maybe it's just the wind," one of his friends said. But Prethiv couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right.

As they explored the mansion, they found old paintings on the walls, dusty furniture, and cobwebs covering everything. Prethiv's friends laughed and joked around, but Prethiv couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.

As the night wore on, the storm outside grew stronger. The wind howled and the rain beat against the windows. Suddenly, the lights went out, plunging the mansion into darkness. Prethiv's heart raced as he heard his friends scream. When the lights flickered back on, they were all huddled together, but one of them was missing.

Prethiv called out his friend's name, but there was no response. They searched the mansion, calling out his name, but he was nowhere to be found. As they turned a corner, they saw a figure standing at the end of the hallway. It was a ghostly figure, with long, tangled hair and eyes that glowed in the darkness.

Prethiv's friends screamed and ran, but Prethiv was frozen in fear. The ghostly figure approached him, and he felt a cold breath on his neck. He knew he had to do something, but he didn't know what.

Suddenly, he remembered something his grandmother had told him when he was a child. "When faced with a ghost, don't show fear. Stand tall and face it head-on." With that in mind, Prethiv turned around to face the ghost.

The ghostly figure stopped in its tracks, as if surprised by Prethiv's boldness. It slowly dissipated, and Prethiv's missing friend appeared behind it. They all ran out of the mansion as fast as they could, never looking back.

As they drove away from the mansion, Prethiv and his friends couldn't believe what had just happened. They had encountered a ghost, but Prethiv's courage had saved them all. From that night on, Prethiv knew that he was no longer afraid of the dark or the unknown. He had faced his fears and come out stronger for it.

However, the experience had left its mark on all of them. They couldn't shake the feeling that something had followed them out of the mansion. Strange things started happening around them. Doors would slam shut on their own, objects would move inexplicably, and they could hear faint whispers in their ears.

Prethiv's friends started to avoid him, fearing that whatever had followed them out of the mansion had latched onto him. But Prethiv refused to give in to his fears. He knew that he had faced a ghost and come out alive, and he wasn't going to let something as trivial as strange occurrences scare him.
