Hello guys

Today I'm back with the second part of Indian rituals and their scientific side. Let's get into the blog.

The dash of sindoor on a brides forehead

This indicates that the women started her journey as a wife. But what is the significance of putting sindhur on forehead? Do you ever thought?

Sindhur is made of turmeric, lime and Mercury. This will control the blood pressure and activates sexual drive. We know that widows won't use it. Sindhur is applying in the forehead. It starts to put from the forehead, all the way to pituitary gland. Pituitary gland is the seat of thoughts and emotions. 

Why do newly married women wear heavy tight Bangles

It is an intelligent way to press the veins underneath to increase the blood flow in reproductive organs, resulting in easy conseption. 

Why do married women wear a toe ring

A particular vein from the second toe connect the uterus and passes to the heart. This will help to strengthen the uterus by regulating blood flow to it. It will also helps to regularise the menstrual cycle.

Why do we hang lemon and chillies on trucks, car, shop etc

By doing this the believe is to remove the evil spirit. The scientific side is , we can see this lemon and chillies hang on restaurants. Here the main aim is to care for the customers. By protecting the insect from food, and ensure good quality food for the customers. So this method is used to no trouble for the customers.

In chillies there is a heat producing substance called capsaicin, which repell the insects. Because it is an irritant.

Our travelling heroes also carries lemon and chilli along with them. Lemon helps to hydrate and chilli is used to detect whether the snake venoms is poisonous or not. On snake bite, they used to eat chilli. If they can feel the taste of chilli, then the venom is not poisonous. But if they can't recognize the taste, then the venoms will be poisonous.

Why do Indians offer water to sun

In many parts of India it is still practicing. Especially brahmins. They offer water to sun when the sun rises. When water poured the sun forms a spectrum of different colors. This energy is maximum absorbed by our body. This will help to balance the tridosha. Vata, pitha, kapha.
