Namaste folks! I hope you all are doing amazingly good. Everywhere now we see, we only see despair and tears. I know that we are in deep gloomy situation, but will it help us by being sad or mad about that? Amm, no. It is hard to overlook all these things. Also we should not, as it is about our countrymen but more about mankind. keeping this in mind, we also should not forget about our mental peace, about delivering some solace to our minds. it is easier said than done, one must think! For a second look around you, what do you see? Dead bodies, death rates going high, failure, debates on government policies. when we have so much negativity going on around us, it is natural to feel lifeless, to feel dead inside, to be completely hopeless but do we have a choice rather being positive? We donβt, right! we are completely stressing our minds and souls in this COVID-19 era. We have forgotten the need and importance of good mental health. Now that we have discussed about the significance of mental health, that too about good one, now I want to move on, on how to keep our mental state in a better position. As we all know that we have already tried and searched for every hobby we could in last year. Even if we try or have tried all those things again, we cannot attain the level of satisfaction and happiness that we felt last year. So, now what to do? Just eat, sleep, wake up? No, a big no, this boring routine would result in stress or even depression. I know most of us have dried our minds in the name of doing or keeping ourselves busy, but this battle of survival is not over yet and we too should not let this tension and stress overrule our minds. Meditation, Exercises these two activities I highly recommend as they are perfect for our mental well-being, not only they provide solace to our minds but the sense of clarity that comes from them is another advantage of these two activities. After these two I would suggest to take up some course in whichever field you are interested in and it does not matter if you are a parent, housewife, student, etc. learning doesn't ask for age. Thirdly, gardening, watching some good series or movies might play a vital role in keeping your minds stress free and entertained. if you have any kid, pet, toddler, senior citizen, then I would say to spend some quality time with them, it will not only make them happy but also your bond with them will grow.
These are some tips that I personally follow and highly recommend you. Important thing in this pandemic is that you should avoid all sorts of negativity such as - news, unnecessary COVID-19 talks with relatives and friends, etc. I am not saying to completely neglect news, of course no it is important to be updated but one should avoid heavy headlines such as news about deaths, positivity rate and shortages of things that are being casted on news channels.
