Hello dear readers, I hope you all are doing well. This is a health related blog and some of the health myths are discussed here.

It is very easy to give advice about tips to good health. Some of us follow it blindly but before developing a new habit or modifying any previous one, it should be checked whether it is actually going to help or not. Here are some health related myths that are quite common and should be broken  to keep ourselves healthy and fact checked-

Brush your teeth after every meal- If teeth are brushed after every meal then it may damage the outer layer of the teeth. This layer is known as enamel and it protects the teeth. When you brush the teeth just after having food then it may damage this layer and can cause the problem of sensitivity in future. To attain the normal pH of the saliva in mouth you should wait for at least 30 to 60 minutes before brushing your teeth.
Brown sugar is healthy- Brown sugar and white sugar are almost similar when it comes to nutrition and calories. The only difference is of taste, color and the process that they go through.
Basically brown sugar is prepared from jaggery and it is known as raw sugar because it gets prepared with less chemicals as compared to white sugar.
In comparison to white sugar brown, sugar contains less calories (0.25 per gram). It contains more minerals than refined white sugar. Brown sugar contains 95% sucrose and 5% sweetness. So it
cannot be said that brown sugar is healthy.

Stretching relieves pain- Stretching helps in relieving pain a little bit but it does not fully cure the pain. Stretching is not only essential for relaxing the muscles but is also necessary before and after doing any physical exercise.
Stretching helps in blood circulation so that the organs can work effectively and it also helps in the flexibility of muscles so you should do stretching regularly and make sure you do it only after warm up otherwise it may cause problems.
