Ways To Reduce Belly Fat

Hello dear readers, welcome to another blog on fitness. No one likes to look fat and especially belly fat is a matter of great concern for most of the people. I am not saying that it is something to be embarassed of but there are several consequences of having excessive fat in your body. It can be genetic, hypothyroidism affects the metabolism and as a result weight can increase. But if your lazy lifestyle has led you to overweight issues and you are trying to reduce for belly fat, here are some tips which can be helpful- 

  • Exercise- As we know, exercise is the best way to reduce weight as it increases the metabolic rate of the body. Try to do exercise regularly. When we do any physical exercise, a hormone is released which increases the metabolic rate and the excessive fat starts to reduce. You can do it five days in a week.
  • Intake of protein- Protein helps in reducing fat so include protein in your diet. If you are a vegetarian, you can have cottage cheese, curd, kidney beans, lentils etc. 
  • Change your diet- If you are taking a diet rich in oil, then you should change it. Intake of excessive oil can lead to the formation of extra fat in the body. Try to have some home made food. Include salad, leafy vegetables, fruits in your diet. 
  • Adequate sleep- If your sleep is disturbed then also the hormonal balance can be affected and you can feel more hungry than usual. You can also check sound sleep- a must for healthy body.
  • Have honey- Add one teaspoon of honey in lukewarm water and drink it empty stomach in morning. You can also add some drops of lemon juice as well. 
  • Dinner- Do not consume too much calories at night. If possible, eat your dinner before 7. Also try to avoid refined carbohydrates such as sweets, oily food at night.
  • Don't stress- When a person is stressed, a hormone called cortisol is released in the body. It increases the hunger. So due to stress, we sometimes eat in excess and consumer more calories than usual. This all contribute to increased weight of the individual.

You can follow a diet chart made by a professional. It takes time to get the result so do not get worried about such things. Have a healthy lifestyle as it is well said health is wealth.
