We are aging with every second that passes by, our cells are dividing taking us to the path we are meant for, we are growing metabolically with every moment.
But are we actually growing as a human being ? Some of us are stuck in a same place for years, some have realized this some have not. This is making us anxious, depressed and angry all the time. Some of us are stuck in situations and want to start doing something but what? How?
Here are some personally tested ways that helped me immensely to get hold of myself againβ¦
I used to sit for hours in a place and study or pretend to study and watch Netflix in order to avoid people and situations for days, NOT A HEALTHY CHOICE. So I decided to come out of my comfort zone by little steps I decided to START MOVING after every hour for 10-15 minutes lookout for the little chores and get them done. It give me a very little sense of safety and confidence.
I used to be an overweight individual. I started with literally 10 minutes of PHYSICAL ACTIVITY in a day. Now, I spend around 40-50 minutes doing exercises 4,5 days in a week. It is helping now in tremendous ways like glowing skin, increase in stamina, delighted mood.
READ good books. I think this one is really necessary for growth in a right direction. Here are some recommendations Ikigai, Death by Sadhguru, Inner Engineering and Karma by Sadhguru, Think like a Monk By Jay Shetty, Life's Amazing Secrets by Gopal Gaur Das. May be I will add some more good reads in coming blogs.
START RECONNECTING with the world outside. Start interacting with that kid who stares at you, with that stray dog who comes out to you when you go outside, I add a task in my to-do list to call people who i need to attend to, who I really want in my life but my anxiety made it difficult to connect with them.
STOP SAYING NO to that random plan your friends made just to go outside and meet. Go have fun
MEDITATE MEDITATE MEDITATE you will be surprised to experience the immense power of meditation once you start. you can start with the guided meditations on you tube and several apps providing the services and proceed further on.
Start with TO-DO list every morning list 10-15 tasks you need to do in a day. Push yourself to complete everyone of it before you go to bed. Trust me the you will definitely get a good night sleep.
