The first book in both the Shiva Trilogy and the Amish Tripathi series is titled The Immortals of Meluha.

Indian author Amish Tripathi uses a fantastical approach to write about Hindu mythology. In his work, he humanizes god and presents him as a regular person just like the rest of us. In this book, he describes the Hindu god Lord Shiva as a human. This tells us how Lord Shiva has a human life, complete with all of the good and bad aspects of humanity. The conversations between Shiva and Sathi, Shiva and Nandanandhi, and so forth are all conducted in ordinary local dialect. so that everyone is able to read and comprehend. The author never fails to amaze me with each new page. This book was fantastic. This is a book that readers of all ages can enjoy.

Meluha is fictional country by Lord Rama centuries ago. location mentioned in this book is inspired by Indus Valley civilization.

Meluhas were the name given to the Harrapans for Indus valley civilization Meluha severed as its capital. The main character of the story is Shiva and  he is a Tibetan immigrant to Meluha.

The story is set in the  fictional country and it starts with shiva arrival. Meluhans believe that their great savior Neelkanth is Shiva. Shiva decides to reach out his hands to Meluhans in the war against the Chandravanshis clan, who had joined forces with the cursed Nagas. however, during his journey he learns how his choice reflect to who he is later and its consequences.

it is about fight between two clans  named Suryavanshis and Chandravanshis and  how shiva deals with it. Never take a decision or make a judgment without considering all sides of a situation is the moral of this book.

It has three volumes in it, The Immortals of Meluha, followed by The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras. it is jointly named as The Shiva Trilogy. and Iam sure all will amaze you. This trilogy book explores love friendship, politics and hindu mythology. This book will lead you to the world of books with great curiosity…. it was translated in many languages like Tamil, Telugu Hindi English and so on. it is one of the best gift book to be given to anybody. this book became my one of the favorite and became fan of this author. if story of this book has taken as movie or series it will be a great visual treat. it will give a vibe of Games of Thrones.. no doubt in it.
