>> Story - 1:
It was a dark, moonless night. Enough light shone from the porch light to show the broken coat hanger that stuck out of the porch stair rail. I tried to ignore it as I walked up the stairs, but I couldn't help but think about the urban legend my friends had told me.
The legend said that if you broke a coat hanger and left it sticking out of a stair rail, a ghost would come and haunt you. I didn't believe in ghosts, but I still couldn't help but feel a little uneasy.
I was about to go into my house when I heard a noise coming from the porch. I turned around and saw a figure standing in the shadows. I couldn't see its face, but I could see its eyes staring at me.
I froze in fear, not knowing what to do. The figure began to walk towards me, and I could see that it was wearing a long, white dress. I tried to scream, but no sound came out.
The figure was now standing in front of me, and I could see its face. It was the face of a woman, and she had a look of terror on her face. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out.
Suddenly, I felt something cold and wet touch my hand. I jerked my hand away and saw that the woman's hand was dripping with blood. I turned and ran into my house, not looking back until I was safely inside.
I never went outside at night again. I didn't want to risk meeting that woman again.
>> Story - 2:
I was walking home from work late one night, when I heard a noise coming from the alleyway. I didn't think much of it, and continued on my way. But the closer I got to the alley, the more menacing the noise became. It sounded like someone was being tortured.
I knew I shouldn't look, but I couldn't help myself. I peeked into the alley, and what I saw still haunts me to this day. There was a man, hanging from a rope, his body contorted in pain. His clothes were tattered and covered in blood, and his face was a mask of terror.
I tried to scream, but no sound came out. I was frozen in place, paralyzed by fear. I watch helplessly as the man's body was engulfed in flames, until he was nothing but a charred skeleton. Then, the ropes holding him up snapped, and his body fell to the ground with a sickening thud.
I turned and ran the other way, and I haven't been back to that alley since. I don't know what happened that night, but I know I never want to find out.
