Despite spending lakhs of rupees on advertising and marketing, many times such results do not come, which come from listening to praise of a product from each other's mouth.  People trust their friend or relative more than the advertisements coming on TV, who are praising a product.  

Here a belief is born in them, that that person has also used such a product.  Hence the risk is less.  Such assurances are visible to people in mutual publicity and it becomes easier for them to take decisions.  For small businesses, this mutual promotion proves to be more beneficial.  

Now comes the question of how to promote it.  For this, you do not need to distribute pamphlets, but some such methods have to be adopted so that people will be happy and talk about your product. 

 Keep the level high:-

 People will appreciate you only when they really get satisfaction and happiness from the services you are getting.  Therefore, fulfill the claims you are making in your advertisements.  Along with product quality, pay special attention to your services, customer care.  

Customer care is necessary so that an angry customer can be persuaded.  If more people keep getting angry then this propaganda will start doing harm instead of benefiting. 

 Good Behavior:- 

Remember, your customer is better off than you in terms of choices.  That's why never take them as 'Taken for Granted'.  Whenever they come to you, treat them with respect.  If they frequent your store or office, have a friendly conversation first.

Solve the Dilemma:-

 Many times the customers are unable to understand the company policies or the heavy words written in the agreement.  Now if they ask you to explain them, don't be offended.  Give them answers to their problems.  If you have questions.  If you avoid answering, it will send the message that you are hiding something.

Humility is important:-

 You cannot establish a good relationship with the customers by speaking harshly.  If a customer is reporting a complaint about your service, then listen to him.  Instruct staff to behave politely with customers.  Wrong words spoken by the staff may be taken as the stand of the company.

Surely thank you: -

 Just as you tell about the offers etc. by calling the customers for sales, show the same commitment even after selling the product.  You can call them and ask if their product is doing well.  Or did they have any problem with your service?  This way you can also get feedback.  

Make your presence: -

 Along with becoming a topic of discussion among people, it becomes necessary for you to be visible among people.  You can attend those events, workshops, public functions where people from your target group gather.  Here you can learn about the wishes and troubles of those people.  This would be a good platform for this.  

Come to social media: -

 To become a topic of discussion among people, it is necessary not only to go physically among people, but it is also necessary to be present virtually.  This virtual presence means being active on social media.  You can also inspire people to share it by putting your promotional videos, statuses etc. 

 Redeem Publicity: - 

Many times your company will be published in small and big newspapers.  Don't just save it and put it in files.  Use them to capitalize on your popularity.  Seeing these cuttings or clippings discussed about you in the media, people start considering you as an established player.  If any eminent personality makes some good comment about you, then you can also include that in your promotion.
