Penny To Pillar - Part 2

So Hello everyone! This blog is the part 2 of the “penny to pillar - game of consistency”. I will provide the link at last. You can check that first, if you don't want to spoil the joy of reading. Ok so last time we discussed one story and then I wrote some heart-touching lines which touched your heart , if you have one. If you have given it to someone, then I feel sympathetic for you. Ok so Heartless person, let's read. (jokes apart)

WHAT IS CONSISTENCY?

Ok! so what is consistency? is it a bird, animal , human, alien or what?. Consistency means doing one thing repeatedly, daily with focused mind and with being productive. If you don't understand this english line then wait for me to elaborate:)

You are a footballer and you practice daily, without a single day off. You don't give any excuse of bone drill, or hurt , or rubbish. You go everyday in the field and just practice, and practice, and practice. Same apply for other fields too. If you read daily then it means , you are consistent at reading. I want to give more examples , but as being a student it is my duty to end other examples with ETC.

I hope the meaning of consistent is cleared now. Here comes one more point to discuss “breaking the wall”. or we can say “going extra mile”. This will be covered in the next part. It is very interesting topic and will help you to be more than average, I will be giving real life examples explaining it in deep. Now the question comes:

IS IT SIMILAR TO DISCIPLINE? OR IT IS ANOTHER NAME OF DISCIPLINE

In my opinion, it is similar, because it requires self-discipline to do something consistently, It requires the self-discipline to go to gym instead of sitting in front of T.V. . It takes some pain, sorrow, delayed instant gratification. But I am sure for one thing, at the end it is fruitful. Let me clear this with an example:

You delayed french fries and chose some green vegetables to eat. You delayed the instant gratification and went through the pain of this choice, It means “instead of doing according to your will , you reacted opposite”. Your will was to eat junk food, but you sacrificed it and ate healthy food. So we can say - doing the things that you don't feel like to do but then also doing that is self-discipline, resisting temptations, resisting the immedieate reward for your future benefits is self-discipline. sameway, practicing the skills instead of partying is self-discipline and doing it consistently is more beneficial. so we can say that.

CONSISTENCY AND SELF-DISCIPLINE ARE COMPLEMENTARY! Both are incomplete without each other. You can't be consistent without being self-disciplined, you can't be self-disciplined without being consistent.

So guys! enough for today, i hope you find it valuable and please do share and give your feedback, Next part will be coming soon. Till then good bye.
