Communication is the key to all goals. Today's era   , communicate   effectively  is important  skills in   education,   work  and day to day life .   Today’s   world   demands   effective   communication   skills.   Properpositive   communication   skills   will   definitely   enhance   the   job   and   career opportunities for students. In fact  comunnication   ability   plays   a   crucial   role   in   building   and   maintaining relationships at all places.    English  has become imperative for the students to be proficient in communication skills, so that they can perform well in the academic as well as professional life . Theyhave to be prepared to compete in this world of global economy. So, it is  the need   of   the   hour .  The  objective of teaching English is  to help the learners to overcome the challenges in the competitive global scenario.Curriculum should be relevant and it should include ample material for teaching communication skills and prepare the students to face the real life situations.It has  been  observed  that  students’  personal  barriers  become  obstacles  in  theprocess of developing good communication skills and has an adverse influenceon their learning output.

Basic of communication

Firstly be confident while speaking.

You should know what to say

Control your fear while speaking

Most importantly think before you speak

Don't rush always speak slowly

You should always try to find out what other person wants to hear.

 

 

Communicate is a more of art than science.

Communication is very important for expressing your feelings & thoughts.

It's is generally a two way process of exchanging ideas verbally & non verbally.

Verbal , nonverbal & written

Verbal is genrayuse of words & symbols

Nonverbal is basically conveying your messages through eye contact ,  facial expressions

 

 

How to achieve effective communication

• communication is a skill  that requires practice

•always present yourself carefully & clearly

• always stay alert

 

Always know what you want to say & how to say it .

Smiling is important if it fits the situation
