In my today's blog post I am going to let you all get introduced with a very strange topic. I am sure some of you must have thought about this somewhere back in your time & the topic is “Do you think that there are people in this world or on our planet who eats human?”Yes, I am talking about Cannibals or The Man Eaters. In today's blog we will try to figure out answer to this question. So let's dive into it.

You must have heard that Big fishes eats smaller fishes, One spider kills and eat over the other spider. Or the more powerful animal dominates over the less powerful one, But the statement that “One human could eat another human” looks unbelievable. Am I right? But the truth is yes there are still some special groups of human population who eats human flesh. I know, It looks unbelievable & spooky in first view but let me explain you the conditions & circumstances that why this even exist one by one.

In ancient time there were many tribes who used to eat human flesh. They used to do so not because they love the taste of human blood & flesh but due to some underlying customs that were present since long time ago when the human civilisation was not really developed like then or today's. Their customs made them believe that eating human flesh was a sacred process & it has to be done anyhow.

Regarding the statement mentioned above, those ancient tribes used to believe that if they eat Lion's flesh they would become Lion in the same way if they consume flesh & blood of a brave man/human they would inherit his characteristics & eater would become brave, strong & attractive.

• Some religions, tribes & practices allows their people to become cannibals & practice cannibalism.
• Some times killings (sacrifices) of human who have done any bad work and is a culprit were also made before their beloved gods/goddesses, as they believe that the culprit made their god angry by doing such works which were not allowed & now god will become happy only after their sacrifices/killings.
• Other people used to eat the flesh of sacrificed person for safe future & blessings from their god.
• The people of Azwtek tribe from Mexico used to practice such customs for long.

It is also believed that there exist some special groups of people or tribes in today's world as well who are cannibals or man eaters, whatever you call them. Some also believe that there are a few categories of cannibals who lives till date in New Guinea.

There are no concrete evidence about the presence and numbers of cannibals or man eater categories of humans in today's world, but it is evident that today we have least number of such species as compared to ancient times.
