We human beings always tend to compare ourselves with people who are superior to us.We all fail to see that even we are superior to some but we easily ignore it. I always wonder why do we do so in most of the cases??? Is it something we are trained for ??? No right??? Then why can we think rationally at such times and control out thinking???
Our thoughts play a very vital role in our life. Sister BK Shivani from Brahmakumari's always says “ Sankalp Se Srishti” ( Hindi) What does it really mean?? It means that our very own thoughts have the power to change our life. Yes…it is true…And with my experience I can surely say that it is indeed powerful.
However it won't happen overnight. Our mind which is a storehouse and and a production house of our thoughts is like an adamant kid. It's probably may be difficult to control it in the beginning but as you learn the art of monitoring your thoughts you can definitely change the pattern of your thinking.
So coming back to where we started, when things go wrong with us we tend to compare ourselves with people who are more fortunate than us as I said earlier, isn't it? So next time I want you guys to just tweak your thinking pattern a bit…let me tell you how??…
Firstly, concentrate your thoughts on what you already have rather than continuously thinking about something that you don't have right now. Secondly, think of the people who don't have what you have right now. This will give you a sense of superiority and you would feel blessed. And you will see a shift in your mood just by thinking this way. You would no more discriminate yourself for not having or getting something that you desire. So next time when you are trapped in such kind of thoughts remember to pause before your train of thoughts starts running against you and tell yourself that you are much more fortunate than many others around you so you you really don't need to pull yourself down with your own thoughts. Situations are not in our hands but reactions to the situations is something we can always control and monitor.
Remember one thing…Everything comes to you at the right time… so be patient and be hopeful always!!!!
