Hello everyone
Today I am here to share my personal experiences of travelling to hilly areas. I really love travelling and had done a lot especially in moutains region from my childhood. So, let's get started.
I remember that from a very young age my parents and grandparents always took me on pilgrimage with them. Mostly these religious places are situated on high elevation region. While we are on a pilgrimage, we visit to nearby places as well. And we also visit for recreational purpose. So, from here travelling has become a really significant thing, and one of the best things to do, in my life. Also, one thing about me regarding travel is that I have only gone on trips with my Family only.
If I talk about me I have visited Haridwar (a city in Uttrakhand) approximately 14-15 times. This city is not on a very high altitude. It is on the border of mountains and plains. But still a visit to this place gives you peace. I have also visited to higher altitude regions like Masoorie (2005 m), Nanital (1938 m), Vaishno devi temple Jammu (1584), Mcleodganj (2082 m), Manali (2050 m).
For me, mountains are the best place to visit atleast once every year. It's a really pleasant experience to travel to a mountainous region. Firstly, we see a mountain from a big distance. Slowly and gradually we see those mountains getting bigger and closer to us. As we move ahead the temperature starts falling. This gradually increasing coldness and freshness in the air makes you feel out of the world. Before even reaching the destination we feel calm and composed. The greenery that surrounds you from all sides is more satisfying than any luxurious apartment. For this reason, I love mountains more than any other geographical relief.
I've visited snowy mountains twice in my life. First time I went to Mcleodganj. And second time to Rohtang valley. I have a lot of joyful memories with these places. The landscape is so beautiful, so elegant. Just looking like a Wow 😂. These lines are made for this only. When i were mounting for the first time, it was a 6 km long route on slope to get to the top. Completely by foot. I was about to give up many times on the way. But I finally reached and as soon as I reached I forgot about all the tiredness and was amazed by the scenary. There's some magic in nature. It's beauty makes us forgot about everything else and provides us peace. That's why I love mountains.
This is all from my side for today. I hope you liked this blog. Tell me your views and experiences in the comments section below. I will meet you with another blog soon. Till then stay joyful, keep reading and motivated
Thank you…
