Overcoming Mental Depression As The Years Pass

Mental depression is nowadays common. Every teenager usually has mental depression. The reason varies from person to person but almost more than half of the world's population have it.

 Is it easy to overcome it ?

No. It isn't easy and is neither impossible too. A lot of effort must be taken to overcome it. We start to lose interest in everything and overthink and think about how our lives have turned and get more depressed. People get affected with disorders in some cases and are into depression. And in some cases relationship issues, financial problems, work pressure can cause stress and mental depression. 

How I overcame my depression 

As a teenager after I completed my 12th grade I started losing interest in things and started overthinking about everything. I felt the happiness I had was all over. I wasn't a normal person like everybody. I was so different that people sometimes also teased me for that. I did everything possible to change my state of thinking from bad to good but it was very difficult. To divert my thoughts I used to play, ride, and stay out of the house most of the time and avoided being alone to get rid of the thoughts and my life. But whenever I came back home I felt so sad and depressed that make me think y did I return and I feel so empty inside and depressed when I'm alone. As the years passed it became worse that I thought I didn't want anything else but just atleast a normal life like everybody else. My thoughts were dangerous and negative always. I was going to college, going out with my friends, playing and doing every normal stuff but didn't feel normal. I was hoping that someday everything might get alright and I'll be like everyone else. All I did was cry, pray alone and hope for the best. As the years pass i started to divert some thoughts and my actions and started focusing on things that I loved the most like football , rapping , etc. That's when all the sadness and depressive thoughts started to lessen. I started to play football and write songs about my life and rap about them. Now my life comparatively is quite okay and better than before. I hope everything one day might fade away totally. I just don't want anyone else to be sad and depressed. I just don't want this to happen to anyone. The one thing I learned about what you have to do to overcome depression is start focusing on the things you love. It isn't easy it is difficult, but once you start to, it slowly starts fading. Put your focus on things you love and start focusing on your life and help everybody how much ever you can. One day you will be happy as everybody and achieve greater things in life. Whatever happens, sometimes suicidal thoughts, thoughts like Why am I living? Why was I born? And so many more can come to our minds, but always stay strong and hold on. Suicide isn't the solution for anything. Life teaches you many things and you are put to the test always, but you gotta always remember God won't let you totally down. He will help you overcome everything. God bless you all. Overcome all your worries, depression and shine bright like a diamond !
