Why BGMI for India instead of PUBG-

The remodeled or a new version of PUBG(Players Unknown Battleground Mobile) which is solely made for India because PUBG has some Privacy policies that was against Indian Govt., rules. BGMI aka Battlegrounds Mobile India , it has got overwhelming response even before its launch.

What is Battlegrounds Mobile India?

Battlegrounds Mobile India was announced on May 6 by Krafton as its  dedicated game for the Indian market. Its said that this will bring a premium multiplayer gaming experience along with with exclusive in-game events such as outfits, car skins and features.

It will also debut with its own e-sports ecosystem that will include tournaments and leagues. In addition to compare PUBG and BGMI krafton released a video teaser of the new game that suggests similarities with PUBG mobile, which was banned in the country last year.

Reason why PUBG got banned and BGMI was introduced-

In September last year, the Indian Government blocked 118 mobile application, including PUBG, terming them prejudicial, including PUBG which was against the rules and Defence of the nation.

When is the launch date?

Tarun Gupta, Founder, on Thursday said that the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to happen by the third week of June. Earlier it was rumored that the game would be launched on June 10 with fans sharing on fascinating theory. The fact was that Krafton shared an image of a helmet shadow that looks like a solar eclipse. But it was a fake myth. 

Actual launch date-

18th of June 2021.

Size?

The size of Battlegrounds Mobile India is likely to vary from 600mb to 750mb, plus some bytes for resource pack. But I have a leak info that it will be of 619.1 MB and APK size will be 71.9 MB.

What are the minimum requirements?

According to google play store the recommended device requirements for Battlegrounds Mobile India are- Android 5.1.1 above, and at least 2 GB of RAM.

Who can have access to this game?

Players under 18 in India will need to get express consent from parents or guardians to play the game. Its said that players under 18 years of age will have to provide necessary details to play the game. Your information will not be shared with any sites without your permission. When you feel you want to delete information from the servers you can contact the parent company Krafton and request your information to be deleted from their system.
