Hey all, 

Recently I encountered this topic and the reason this topic caught my attention is not because it is a question for the society but a question for us all, that whether we will let it grow and reach as many girls as it can or will we act the same way as always and just blame the government for even starting such a beautiful and motivational programme. 

I truly believe that this programme can bring a change. A change which we have always looked and desired for and I’m saying this because now it’s been years since it has started and we all have seen it working in full swing. Truth be told, I have never seen a more helpful and viable scheme. Also, it has reached so many girls and helped them in every possible way which is a big task in such a big country like India, wherein people are always or let’s say mostly against the helpful and useful schemes. This orthodox mindset of theirs’ stopped their children and majorly girls from achieving goals and fulfilling their desired dreams. 

There are several fields and spheres where we lack today and people’s backward and old-school thinking contributes to it in a signal way. People are so stubborn and such big hypocrites as they won’t let their girls step outside to study and reach some heights even if she has it in her but will allow her to work in their farms or marry them at a very early age for their benefit. Such is the thinking that people carry here. 

There have been many more schemes and programmes like such that have been started by the government for majorly girls belonging from a rural or a backward area, just for their and their family’s betterment, which have been free of cost, but such people can’t see their girls flying and reaching heights that they have the capacity and ability to achieve. All they need is the right guidance and few resources and I can bet you that they can do wonders. 

And it’s surprising but I have seen some girls too who are not much interested in studying and prefer staying at home and getting married at a really early age. Though we can’t purely blame them for this as their family from an early age teaches them these things only and then they grow up in such environment only. So, with time they develop the same mindset as their parents.
