       INDIA, however, there’s no need for prolonged tools to get food from one’s plate to the mouth. Indians prefer using their hands. It’s ingrained into their culture like chopsticks are in Asian countries. Usually, ceremonial events such as: weddings cremations require guests to eat with their hands, and it’s seen as disrespectful not to oblige.

                 A spoon, fork, and knife. The holy trinity of utensils. False. This cutlery is only perceived as “common” because of a westernized narrative that emphasizes its use. Every culture and country has specific eating rules and habits. In America, hamburgers are handheld meals, while the British use a knife and fork just across the pond.

  What is the Benefit to have Food in Hand

1. IT IS NATURAL  

            Hand- Eating is a typical hadit in variouscultures, especially in india, as Indian food is so delicious that it is the most natural way to eat. Imagine eating Dal and Roti with a fork and knife or typing to eat non- vegetartian food made of bonus using a spoon.

2.SENSOR FOR TEMPERATURE

           After eating fingers , the nerves in your fingers detect what temperature the food is. It helps your brain prepare for the food you're about to consume. Ayurveda's research shows that our body reacts to food contact by producting necessary digestivejuices and enzymes.

3. FOOD IS NOW EASIER TO TEAR

       This is not just true of Indian foods like dosas and ratis. It is also true of Western food items like pancakes and bread too. The way fingures are placed , and their flexibility make it simpler to cut food into smaller pieces that can be eaten.

4.IT'S A CLEAN AND HYGIENIC HABIT

        Hand -Eating your food is cleaner than eating using forks and spoons. Washing your hands several times daily is recommended, but not with dishes. Therefore eating using hand helps prevent hygienic issues. Hands are mor hygiene-conscious in comparison to spoons and other kitchen utensils.

5. THE VEDIC REASON

       Ayurveda plays a vital role and is apart of our daily existence . There are many reasons why Ayurveda that hands areamong the most valuable. They are the organs the perform . Each Finger holds a spiritual significance, specifically Fire, Air, Space, Earth,Water etc

         While consuming with fingers is deeply rooted in the Indian lifestyle, it’s crucial to know that the use of utensils has additionally found its way into present-day Indian eating places and families It truly highlights the adaptability and versatility of Indian traditions.
