My Sister Got Married

Hey everyone hope you all are doing well and fine. I have been quite busy with my internship and also my sister. As you might have read by the title, my sister got married. As the only sister as a bride's maid I had a lot of responsibilities and more importantly I had no time for me. She isn't my real sister she is my cousin sister. But our families have always been in close proximity and hence we all were so engaged in the arrangement and the functions and most importantly to make didi happy.

Let me start with it all. So she was to get married to this Mr A who lives in dubai and works there. Also my sister Mrs S lives and works in Dubai as well. We as families meet met the groom and liked their family they liked ours and hence the decision of getting married was taken. The first ceremony that marks this took place but they had to leave for their work as they had leve restrictions and the worst happened. COVID! For two years none of them have come back home so you could imagine no marriage.

And now that she was able to come back we all were on our toes 24/7. From getting her prepared to get ourselves prepared for the wedding as well. But we also had a Diwali in between so we'rent prepared that it would hamper our preparation. But went well and the functions began. I don't know whether it happens in everyone's family or not but we kinda make sure that we burden ourselves with too many functions on the same day so no one is alive the next day. No I ain't joking this happens in every wedding. But before that we had our own mehendi function for her, just the cousins and family like legit close family. Then we did the dancing for her and she enjoyed.

But the wedding day was traumatic. Three ceremonies in one day, the amount of clothes that were changed. In my case I didn't even get to do that. The hurry the rush. Everyone shouting as we were not ready when we were supposed to be. And all set aside the photographer wanted some shots which he took for some half hour for everything saree that she changed. We all were frustrated and so was didi. Never in her life had she taken so many photographs. But all done we had food which was good and happy to tell you that it was praised.

I just hope they both find love and respect for eachother and make the fullest of everything they have and get.

Thankyou 🤗
