The following was advised to Arjuna by Krishna in Bhagavadgita. It will be very helpful if we cultivate the following habits.
Knowledge begins with acceptance of one's ignorance
Cherish the innocence of your soul.
Set your goals clearly and wisely
Work to earn big money & a luxurious lifestyle. But remember that happiness comes from working side by side for your Nation and community.
Respect your infrastructure and support systems
Use your resources correctly
Be a leader by example
Communicate with compassion and understanding
Manager time well - Live 48 hours in every 24 hours
Acquire administrative skills.
Be creative in everything you do - add passion to your life
Live with love! Love means forgiveness, compassion, hard work, enthusiasm, and cooperation
Keep a dream diary
Jog your memory and develop the ability to remember names, places, and events
Know the laws of your country and of your profession.
Remember for doing everything, there is a right place, right person, right time, right subject, and right manner
Be informed about the state of your world especially your country, society, community, and neighborhood
Study the market and see that your money works for you and not vice versa
Be aware of the legal system of your country - it pays to know not only Civil and criminal laws but also environmental and conservation regulations so that your life is rich.
Examine dogmas and rules - some of them need to be broken. Sift out traditions and Customs which are obsolete.
Know the difference between mind and mindset - open your mind to the magic of life by discarding meaningless mindsets.
Develop your personal life by learning new skills hobbies friends travel in past times.
Seek and help to create harmony in family relationships
Leave the baggage of the past behind
Stop seeking the approval of everyone
Discard the missed bus syndrome - sometimes these are perceived deprivations rather than real
Find alternate routes and methods to accomplish your shortcomings
Develop the power of determination - he/she who knows why he/she is born in this world is a successful person
Never accept anything given to you without love, generosity, and goodwill.
