When you buy from online stores, you are not forced to travel outside of your comfort zone. In addition, you can do research about the products that interest you before buying them. This saves time and money!

One of the great things about going online is that you get to choose from a wide range of options. If you want something specific but haven't been able to find it at your local store, then you may be able to find it online.

Save time:

There's no need to search through the aisles of a store, trying to figure out where to look. All you have to do is type in what you're looking for and click "search." There you go -- you've done all the searching yourself and saved yourself a lot of time!

Save money:

We spend a lot of money on going out to different shopping centers to purchase everything we want. However, if we use online shopping, we can save a significant amount of money. As mentioned earlier, you don't have to worry about running out of inventory.

Cons of online shopping :

Returns and refunds:

Online shopping has become very popular among consumers. The ease of purchasing products online makes it the best option for many people. However, once you have purchased something from an online store, your rights are severely compromised. You have no choice but to accept their terms and conditions, including their refund policy. This can easily lead to losing money down the road. If you are not satisfied with the product that you ordered, you might find yourself having to send the item back to the company or risk receiving a partial or full refund. So before signing off on anything make sure that you understand what’s going on in the fine print. As much as possible, avoid paying with credit cards to start with.

Customer service and support:

Many companies provide great customer service and offer live chat support options. Others do not. Make sure that you check out these services prior to making any purchases. Sometimes, this type of “extra” information is not always offered even if you sign up for email updates or newsletters. Also, make sure that you know who else is using the same device/computer you are. There may be sensitive information being stored that could potentially get into the wrong hands.

Offline shopping :

Pros of offline shopping :

You get to meet your friends face-to-face. Online shopping has taken away from us this basic human need. In person, you can tell if someone else is having fun or feeling down and make their day. 

People are real. Yes, you can always fake being happy and friendly online - something most of us do anyway. There is also a good chance that you won't even remember meeting these people and they might not recognize you if you run into them again. They may be completely different now than they were back then. And that's ok.

When you physically see the product, you know exactly how much space you'll need for your house. If you don't have enough room for a certain item, either return it or donate it to a thrift store. This way, you save money and help others who want to live in smaller spaces.

Cons of offline shopping :

Going from one shop to another can be exhausting and time-consuming. Sometimes, you spend hours roaming around looking for a dress,but you don’t find anything. 

Discounts and offers are given only for a short period. You probably won’t get as big a discount on an item as you can on an online website.
