Tapping wind power and solar energy, are quite the cheapest nowadays as renewable energy sources when a total of 38% of the world's electricity in 2021 has been generated by this method.
Dear readers and my fellow bloggers, the risk of climate change on earth's nature is worth wondering, about because if this continues without any remedy for some years, human health and the health of the earth will stand in danger of unwanted calamities and epidemics spreading throughout. The rise in heat due to greenhouse gases and exposure to such climate affects nutrition and the spread of infectious diseases like malaria by anopheles mosquitoes 🦟, found in research by scientists. The major habitat destruction from deforestation brings these mosquitoes to a puzzled format where they transmit the disease more effectively and in epidemic form. Even humans feel mental health trauma due to environmental impacts and changes. There is now a new term called 'solastalgia' meaning a form of worry, anxiety, and depression arising from the effect of losing the environmental surroundings or the homely feel which can be vanishing at a fast rate due to climate changes. This affects the psyche and mental health, found to doctors and researchers.
Increasing floods due to deforestation and subsequently spread of pathogen-carrying vectors of diseases like diarrhea etc. these germs reach epidemic form and impact our health.
Renewable Energy sources against traditional fossil fuels, give much better environmental support regarding emissions and warming. Broadly described, there are a handful of these renewable energy sources, namely Hydro energy. Electricity generation by Dam building and turbine method. Secondly, Biomass energy. Methane gas production by garbage and filth degradation. Thirdly Wind energy utilization by huge turbines which generate power. Fourth comes Solar Panels which tap the energy from sun rays and produce the most necessary power needed for general household work. Fifth in the oceans comes Tidal energy. Turbines underneath seas 🌊 which generate power, even move mills to pound flour from wheat and maize. Lastly discussing Geothermal energy. Here mainly water is circulated beneath a layer where volcanic or radioactive activity is profoundly present. The heated underground runs boilers and geysers.
The two major renewable energy methods.
Some interesting facts about these renewable energy sources. 1) Wind 💨 and Solar are the two fast-growing renewable energy sources that for the first time generated over 10% of the total global energy requirements. 2) In Norway 🇳🇴 98.4% of energy comes from renewable sources, imagine how clean and clear would be the environment. Then comes Brazil 🇧🇷 which stands at 84.1% renewable generation. Thirdly comes New Zealand 🇳🇿 with 80% of renewable generation. A day will come when most countries including the developing world will have renewable energy generation at the priority level and will spread like an inferno in a jungle. Let's hope for the best. 3) These renewable sources are getting cheaper day by day according to (IRENA) = International Renewable Energy Agency, and stand as the world's cheapest energy source in 2020, much cheaper than fossil fuels. Lastly, 4) These sources are Carbon- smart energy sources, with minimal greenhouse gas emissions, emerging from (PV) photovoltaic modules and components, though installing wind turbines with steel, concrete, fiberglass, and copper produces some greenhouse gases, yet, much less than the coal-generated or natural gas-fired power stations. By 2030 40% achievement will be attained in respect of renewable energy sources as forecasted by IEA (= International Energy Agency, throughout the world.
The food for life and substance, the plant-based food.
Diet rich in fruits, leafy vegetables, whole grains, soybeans, legumes, and nuts. This help reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 30%, also recover wildlife loss by 46%, wasteful land use in filth by 41%, and premature losses of life due to disease by 20%, also reduce the risk of heart disease by 10%. This diet also reduces certain cancers and diabetes to a great extent. With perfect use of land and water and proper nourishment the healthy global population is projected to reach 8.5 billion by 2030 fully cured lot of healthy ecology. Again , hope for the best to come.
