Progress And Freedom

No freedom is complete without equality and equality cannot exist without freedom. India did not have only economic inequality. Society was divided by different religions and different castes. There was a feeling of superiority and inferiority among the castes. Voices began to be raised in Hindu society against this caste system and against the social inequality created by this system. Given that economic inequality is rooted in social inequality, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Dr. National leaders like Babasaheb Ambedkar raised public awareness. Mahatma Gandhi, on the other hand, linked the freedom movement with the movement for social equality and economic self-reliance. The right to equality is one of the most important human rights.  Establishing equality in the political, economic and social spheres became the declared goal of the Indian leadership. Will be right. This led to political equality. That is, all people have equal rights in the political arena. Every man has the right to acquire wealth through his labor. He is free to enjoy the right to property without depriving another of his property in accordance with the prevailing law. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State. The state should enact laws to ensure that workers are paid for their livelihood, get equal pay for equal work, and are not exploited financially. The government should help in creating a society where everyone can meet their basic needs. It became economic equality.  Religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, language and place of birth as per our constitution these do not discriminate against the law or the public service. Inhumane practices like untouchability have made us useless. This led to social equality. We also included in the constitution the value of equality in human rights. It is a great fortune of our country that many important leaders of India's freedom struggle and social equality struggle were present in the constitution committee while preparing our constitution.

Man's social, material, cultural and spiritual progress are interrelated. Although many factors have contributed to this kind of progress, the main reason is the freedom that man enjoys. He exercised his right to live his life as he wished. The ninth discovery and the ninth  the invention, the ninth expression  the more he had the right to do it all the more he was moving towards progress.

Human progress depends on the freedom he gets. Favorable to this motivation  The environment provides freedom. We need the freedom to do the things we want to do, Also this freedom develops his intellectual and human powers. So when a group goes into exile, we see its development stunted. Also, in a regime where citizens have more and more freedom, it seems that the citizens have developed themselves and their country more. The reason for this is clear. Human development is not a mechanical process. This action has to do with perceptual things, such as the human mind and intellect. Therefore, the more human rights can be violated, the more man develops. When a person is prevented from coming up with new ideas, the process of development stops. Therefore, those who come up with new ideas have to endure many hardships. Galileo (Italian scientist, 1564-1642), who proved that Copernicus' idea that the earth and planets revolve around the sun was true, had to face trial.

Religion had to withdraw due to pressure from the authorities. Socrates (Greek philosopher, 470-399 BCE)  had to drink a cup of poison  to solve the problems that people have to face in today's life. Doing is the purpose of development. So man needs freedom to express his position today. He needs the freedom to get the education he needs and to get the information he needs in order to have an idea of how to change this situation. Freedom and Patience are required to suggest changes in the individual and society. His development also requires that a person should be able to live his life as he pleases, and that moral institutions, such as the government that governs the individual, should be at his discretion. Laws made by the government or policies made by the society should all be aimed at helping the development of the individual.
