Everybody in his/her life does not experience some paranormal things but those who experience it never forget it throughout his/her life. The fear which we get from this strange thing gets deeply seated in the bottom of our heart. These dreadful memories keep revolving in our mind.

Somewhat like this happened with me last year when I was returning from the market which gave me such a shock that I can still remember and feel it. 

During summer vacations, I went to my village which was located away from the city. I was bored living in a closed room so I decided to visit my old village. My grandparents were living happily in the village. 

When I reached my village, my grandparents were very happy to see me. There after I met my old friend-Ramu with whom I used to play in childhood age.

I was annoyed living in city, so I had a inner desire  to live happily and independently and spend my vacation days in full joy and happiness.

Few days passed like this and I felt eating some snacks and hinese foods which were not available in our village. I asked about it from Ramu and he replied that these things are available at ‘ Shimla Bazaar ’ which is located 5 km away from here. 

It was a long journey but we decided to go to the bazaar. I and Ramu started travelling and soon reached the bazaar. We started eating snacks and chinese foods and bought some more to take back home. Ramu bought a watch and a pair of shoes. We were unaware of the fact that if we do not depart soon from here we will we unable to reach back home before the sky becomes dark.

We were caught in a great problem but still we decided to go back home. First of all we searched for a torch shop. Luckily we got a shop in the market which was selling electronic gadgets. We asked for a torch and paid and started coming back.

We had almost completed 3.5 km journey and we were tired due to continuously walking. So I asked Ramu that Is there any shortcut?

He replied fearfully that there is a short cut whose path is led through the pine forest. I asked him that why is he fearful. He replied that the forest is haunted and nobody travels through that path after evening.

I laughed at him because I did not believe in ghosts. I asked him to follow me and we started going through the pine forest. Wind started blowing speedly and pine tree started making fearful sound. Ramu was afraid but I asked him not to be afraid.

We had covered a few distance when we heard a child crying. Out of curiosity I looked towards the crying sound and found a 5 years old girl sitting and crying. I asked her why she is sitting in this forest all alone and why is she crying. She said nothing so I touched her head and she looked up. It was a nightmare! She had a blank face with no nose, no mouth, no eyes.. all round. Though I did not believe in ghosts I began perspiring out of fear.

We both screamed and started running with full pace. Our torch was also thrown out due to running speed. We did not stopped till we saw a watchman who was carrying a lantern with him. 

On seeing him we both stopped and I tried to explain what I had seen on the way back. He lifted his lantern and told me that, Chotu- Did you see a face just like this. He showed his face which was just similar to the one we have seen before.

We were frightened  to see the dreadful sight again and we did not stopped till we reached our home.
