Yummy Jowar Hakka Noodles Recipe.. Best Food To Munch For Weight Watchers...

As the title says.. Yessss!!!! We are gonna make Jowar Hakka Noodles. Sounds Tasty Rite.
Before getting into the recipe lets see what are the benefits of jowar:
- Improves digestion
- Gluten free.(So people with Thyroid problem can eat it without any hesitation)
- Rich source of protein
- Low Glycemic Index.
Okay .. Now Lets Jump into the Ingredients list required to make Jowar Hakka Noodles.
Note: Ingredients are in BOLD characters.
Method:
- Add 1 cup of jowar flour with half a teaspoon of salt.
- Add around 3 to 4 cups of hot water and mix everything together(Use Spoon as our mixture will be very hot).
- Start kneading it into a soft dough.
- Add water as required and make sure the dough is soft and firm.
- Now give the dough cylindrical shape.
- Next grease a sieve or plate with some oil.
- Next take a mold with thick holes and apply some oil from the inside.
- Place the cylindrical shaped dough inside the mold and close the lid.
- Now press the mold and drop the noodles in a circular motion.
- Then lightly brush them with oil.
- Now Boil some water in a large pot and place or sieve/plate inside the pot on a stand.(As we do it for idly).
- Steam the noodles for around 12 to 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes , open the lid and let it cool for around 5 minutes.
- Our noodles is cooked perfectly now.
- Once everything has cooled down, remove them on a plate and gently separate the noodles.
Sausage Of Noodles:
- Add 2 tablespoons of oil in a kadai on medium to high flame.
- spread the oil and add the following
- 1 teaspoon of garlic paste.
- 1 split green chilly.
- half a cup of sliced onions
- Now sauté everything together for a minute and then add the following into the Kadai
- 1 to 4 cups of sliced carrot
- ½ cup of sliced green bell peppers
- ½ cup of sliced red and yellow bell peppers.
- Sauté everything on medium to high flame for another minute.(you could use any choice of your vegetables)
- Then add 1 cup of chopped cabbage(Ignore this step if u have thyroid issues) and combine it well
- Next we will add
- 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce.
- Add the Jowar noodles and sauté for about a minute
- Now add 1 teaspoon of vinegar/ squeeze half lemon.
- Then gently mix the noodles along with the vegetables and make sure the noodles are coated well with all the sauces.
Now our Jowar Hakka Noodles is ready to be served.
