Signal App is gaining popularity as WhatsApp has announced that if users do not accept its policies by February 8, 2021, they will disable their accounts.

Even though Signal was started earlier, many people don't know about it. Only those who were aware of its safety feature were using it.

In this case, WhatsApp changed its policy and made an announcement that caused anger among many.

So they tried to switch to another Messenger app.

The world's current (Jan 2021) richest man, Elon Musk's tweet called Use Signal caused a great stir all over the world.

It is notable that Elon Musk had already deleted the Space X Facebook page, which had millions of followers, amid the controversy surrounding Facebook's sale of user data.

After Elon Musk's tweet, many people came to know about Signal App.

After this everyone started downloading, due to sudden crowd, Signal App got stuck and delayed in getting OTP.

The number of users of Signal has increased exponentially and in some countries including India it has reached the top spot in Google Play Store and Apple Store.

What's wrong with WhatsApp?
What's going to happen on WhatsApp is nothing in the world. Already, information theft is what all companies are doing.

After Feb 8, 2021, ads related to what users are discussing on WhatsApp will come to Instagram, Facebook.

In addition, Facebook will use your information (IP Address, Mail, Transaction Data, Mobile Device information) for further information.

Google is already doing this and has given you the option to say no.

It says 'take it or leave' like a slap in the face.

Google has long used user information (only) to improve its company's services.
