ONE EVENING A FISHERMAN WENT TO CATCH FISHES FROM LAKE .THERE HE SAW A 20 YEAR OLD GUY SITTING LONELY BESIDE THE LAKE.FISHERMAN WENT TOWARDS HIM AND ASKED WHAT HE DOING HERE? THE GUY SAID I AM HUNGRY THEN FISHERMAN TOOK HIM TO HIS HOME AND FEEDED HIM .NEXT DAY WHEN FISHERMAN WENT TO CATCH FISHES AT THE SAME PLACE HE FOUND THAT GUY AND EVEN TODAY HE SAID THAT HE IS HUNGRY AND AGAIN FISHERMAN FEEDED HIM .THE SAME THING CONTINUED FOR 5 MORE DAYS.ONE DAY FISHERMAN REALIZED LIKE HOW MANY DAYS THE GUY DEPEND ON HIM FOR FOOD.THE NEXT EVENING HE WENT TOWARDS A GUY AND TAUGHT HIM HOW TO CATCH FISHES FROM THE LAKE AND ORDERED HIM TO BRING ATLEAST 5 FISHES TO HOME THEN ONLY HE WILL FEED HIM TODAY.THE GUY BROUGHT UP 5 FISHES AND TOGHTER THEY COOKED AND HAD A MEAL.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS : WE SHOULD HELP THE MAN WHO IS IN NEED OF HELP BUT HOW MANY DAYS WOULD U HAVE HIM FOR A DAY,FOR A MONTH NOT MORE THAN THIS RIGHT, BUT IF WE TEACH THEM HOW TO HELP THEMSELVES THEN THEY CONTINUE TO GROW.LIKE FISHERMAN TAUGHT THE GUY HOW TO WORK.
LESSON TO BE LEARNED FROM THIS SMALL STORY : IF SOMEONE CALLS YOU FOR A HELP THANK YOURSELF THAT GOD HAS CHOOSED YOU TO HELP THAT PERSON.HELP THE ONE WHO IS REALLY IN NEED OF IT.BUT WE TEACH HOW TO HELP THEMSELVES THAN IT WOULD LIKE GIVING LIFE TO THEM.LIKE FISHERMAN CAN FEED HIM FOR THE DAY BUT IF HE TAUGHT HIM HOW TO FEED HIMSELF THEN HE CONTINUE TO GROW.WHY IT WAS NECCESSARY TO TEACH A GUY ? BECAUSE IF THE FISHERMAN DIDNT TEACH HIM THEN THAT GUY USED TO DEPEND ON HIMSELF FOR ENTIRE LIFE.ONE SHOULD TRY TO BE SELF INDEPENDENT IT MEANS WE SHOULD NOT DEPEND ON OTHERS UNLESS ITS COMPASSION.SELF LEARNING,SELF TEACHING,SELF MOTIVATED ,SELF HELP ARE IMPORTANT SKILLS FOR SELF IMPROVEMENT.
THERE IS ONLY ONE CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE YOU CAN BE CERTAIN OF IMPROVING AND THATS YOUR OWN SELF.
THE SPIRIT OF SELF-HELP IS THE ROOT OA ALL GENUINE GROWTH IN THE INDIVIDUAL.
SELF HELP IS A BEST HELP.SELF-CARE IS GIVING THE WORLD THE WHATS BEST OF YOU.
The moral of the story is pretty obvious. If you can't find happiness in things you already have, you'll never be happy no matter which of your wishes will come true
