This poem is about my first love. No! I'm not going to talk about him or our love story, it is about the feelings and the emotions that we all experience for the very first time in our lifetimes. It happens with almost everyone_ in school gallery or in coaching classes, may be in our neighbourhood or anywhere but everyone of us has gone through this phase where our heart skipped a beat for the very first time on someone's one look. You cannot deny that you didn't had a crush or you didn't felt that way for someone. That first eye contact, holding someone's hand for the very first time, waiting early in the morning just for someone's one single look and that first blushing smile. We all had that phase for once in our lifetime and no matter how far you have come but that first butterflies feeling in your tummy was rare and that smile was real. So, here are words from my diary about what I felt and still feel:
Remember that first time,
when you felt the rhyme…
The birds chirping and the shining sun,
every edge of your feelings were on a run…
The butterflies, the colourful sky
pretty blushing cheeks and when you felt shy…
I felt all this when I first saw you,
was a little school girl and had a crush on you…
The desperation, excitement, craze of text,
your pictures looked cute_
I wasn't aware about the next…
We never met in person but everything was on fire,
those feelings were new, you were my first desire…
The warmth of every touch,
I felt safe in that clutch
for the very first time, I had that much…
The heartbeats were first
so was my lust,
you not only touched my soul,
but that first kiss too played a role…
You were the one I got opened to,
the person I trusted was only you…
I learned the value of someone else's presence,
It was nothing but first love's essence…
The fear of losing someone, I felt it for you
It never happened before, everything was new…
It's been years when we first met,
I am still the same but you'll never get…
I'm broken and the things are at their worst,
But I can't unlove you because you were my first…
