Kajal Ki Kothri- The Un(seen) Discrimination

Finding y(our) place in the world is difficult, but finding trust and faith is indeed impossible. Say lucky enough even if you find it, beware you'll lose it soon and that is certain.

I know my words not making sense, and it would never make if your are logical without any emotions in you, because water is soaked in sponge and not in stone.

Being emotional, I feel is a blessing, when you have enough emotions in you, you tend to look at the postive side of things first. You know how to love and when you love you're creative. Creativity makes you get attached to even the miserable things, and that is The Trap. I will talk about logics and emotions in another blog, here let's get back to the topic-

What is discrimination? The answer is simple, Treating someone worse/different than the others, what/who is someone here? Again the answer is simple, it is decided by the basis on what you discriminate, be it race , colour, sex, culture, dress up or may be religion etc.

But don't you think this is the same cliched story which everyone learned about since grade 6? So why am I writing about it here? Everybody knows the visible discrimination which is mentioned above.

But does everyone know, what is the unseen discrimination? It happens when you are opinionated.

As the debate of religious clashes have rekindled, the world has become more suffocating for those who have different opinion, for those who keep a different point of view and for those who are creative. Not only people following different religion are discriminated but also the people who oppose these debates are too discriminated .

Yes I am discriminated and I know how it feels to be discriminated. But when you are not a part of the religion which is discriminated it is the worst scenario for you. Why? Let me elaborate -

I had been very reluctant to get indulged into these debates lately. I used to avoid them, I always avoid them because of the vagueness of ideas and thoughts.

Also I avoid them because of the shallowness these debates carry with them. And until thoughts and ideas are vague, they don't fall under the category of debate. But what's the use of me avoiding these debates? As I am being dragged into it any way! And now the idiom which my mumma used to recite makes more sense - “kajal ki kothri mein jaiso hi jatan karo, kajal ka daag lage hi lage”.

In this world of kajal ki kothri,it's impossible to remain unstained.

I started this blog talking about finding faith and losing it, so it's not necessary always that people snatch your trust, sometimes it's this stain that does.

“The stain is certain, so does the certainty of losing”

Cheers! anyway
