 Hey guys , hope you are all safe and sound ! It's been a while since I wrote my last blog . so , today’s topic is about the uses and the nutritional values that flax seeds have . You have heard the name of  these seeds from people who workout or are on a diet . i saw this about in insta and really wanted to know about that . then it really amazed me by its several health benefits when consumed . not only for diet , it is useful for even hair care too .  They are immensely effective for weight loss , but not only that , they have many other benefits . Let's see what they are .

1)NUTRIENTS THEY HAVE :

As I said before , they contain many minerals and proteins like many things . a tablespoon of flax seeds contains carbs , fiber , saturated fat , protein , vitamin b1 and b6 , potassium , magnesium , calcium , omega -3 ..etc ..a load of good things , right ? 

2)MAY REDUCE CANCER :

Flax seeds contain a plant compound called LIGNANS which have antioxidants and values that help to fight cancer . Fortunately, flax seeds have 800 times more lignans than any other plant food . When intaken by womens , it helps to reduce breast cancer . 

3)LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE :

A study says that a certain amount of flax seeds every day for 6 months lowers blood pressure by 100mmhg .

These flax flax seeds naturally have the ability to reduce blood pressure . 

4)ROLE IN LOSING WEIGHT :

In the journey of workout and diet , people prefer low carb foods which ultimately are flax seeds and that too filled with additional nutrients . They can include this with smoothies and soak it in milk to have it has a breakfast .  

5) MANAGING SUGAR LEVEL :

The lignans present also help in reducing blood sugar levels . It has insulin resistance a nd it regulates sugar level .

6) HELPS TO DIGEST EASILY :

As these seeds contain more fibre , it acts as a natural laxative , a hormone that helps to digest the food easily . So people who have problems with digestion can consume these flax seeds daily for best results .

NOTE ; 

  1. the flax seeds more preferably taken in grounded form than as a whole seed .
