In 2006, a scary incident happened in Guna Caves, Kodaikanal. 

A group of friends from kochi decided to go on a trip from their native place kochi to Kodaikanal trip.

In onam holidays they finally ready for the trip to Kodaikanal.then they started their trip.once they reach the Kodaikanal they see all around the places of that tourist areas.then they are curious to see the guna caves from tha tamil movie ‘Guna’ movie.in this movie Kamal hassan sir acted as a hero and he uses the guna caves to hide from villains and the police.because on that movie he kidnapped the heroine because he loved her.

Thats the story of infamous guna caves.firstly in 80s centuries  the British governments are the one finding that caves in kodaikanal.after that so many peoples are dead from falling into the caves and they couldn't even find their bones on the fallen victims.so they named the caves ‘devils kitchen’.even the native peoples of Kodaikanal are afraid to go near those caves.after Guna movie team using that caves for their movie it's named guna caves from peoples.

Now we come to the topic.so the group of friends called Manjummel Boys after seeing every place in Kodaikanal now  going to see the guna caves in Kodaikanal and they they enjoying the movement in guna caves in  that movment the shocking incident happens.

One of their friend Subhash fell into a deep crevice, called ‘devils kitchen’.first they thought subash just pranking after so many times they shouted into the cave calling his name subash didn't respond.then they realise subash actually fell into that ‘devils kitchen’.

After informing the police about this incident they came and trying to help subash.Despite their attempts, the police couldn't help and no one wants to go inside the caves even foirforce are afraid of that caves that's how dangerous the ‘devils kitchen’ is.

Then one of subash's friend Siju David bravely went down the dark cave using a 50-foot rope to save Subhash, pulling off a successful rescue.

Siju David's heroics went unnoticed until a later press conference in Kochi. Siju David  believed more lives could have been saved if someone dared to enter the dangerous cave.

Now tourists only vist guna caves from safe spots.

Once during an interview with the actor  soubin sharir who acted as SIJU David he said he once meet the real Manjummel Boys and talking about the incident that happenes on the guna caves,  “They recalled some disturbing details and events, which got me tensed not only as the producer but also as the actor who plays an important role”.
