Hello everyone, after a long break of a week I am back. As you read from the title, I got vaccinated. And hence, the body ache, fever, headache, fatigue, chills, no no don't worry I was fine. I had just fever and my vaccinated hand still aches. The day I was to get vaccinated we woke up early as there are limited vaccines but I got my token as my father registered on my behalf, I also registered on the official website of government for online registration. Both of these two are very important at the time of getting vaccinated. And also your Aadhaar card, they check your age, and then they register you on their computers to get this information to the ICMR. And offcourse the never ending queue of people, but as I was early I was 33 in line, ya I was in line for an hour🙃, but it's okay.
But many of family members refused to do so. The reasons given to me were the after effects of vaccine, that people get vaccinated and yet they test positive for COVID-19. They say it's not safe, but on a side note what exactly in life is “safe”. No matter what you want or try to achieve, nothing is safe. So nothing can garuntee you 100% safety from harm. This is life, we get into one, we try we get out of it and then again fall into other. But unfortunately there alot of paranoid people around us who always see the “negative side” or the “danger” in everything.
In regards to COVID and the vaccines fro COVID in general we should weigh up the risks of the disease against the risk of the vaccines. I think I can say this as I have been vaccinated that there are some allergic reactions to the vaccines like some that were mentioned above. These risks or side effects are different for different people. It amazes me that there were so many who said,“ I am not scared of vaccine, why should I wear a mask?” these are the same people who say “stay away from me if you are vaccinated, it is dangerous”.
Most of us won't be hurt by any of it then it may be the virus or the vaccine. But the one's who will or who have are only a handful of people. So yes people have died after getting vaccinated but we must also count those millions who's lives were saved due to vaccine. So let's just use our common sense and get vaccinated as our country's experts have tested it, they got it themselves and also our very own healthcare workers too. So let's just assume that to make everything normal again we all need to get vaccinated.
