Its is really eager to know the cutoff of group 2 prelims and it is also tough to study for group 2 mains and group 4 simulataneuouly…So, now what should the candidates do… In my view upto July 24th concentrate on group 4 and I will say why? Look guys there is a myth that the cutoff will be reduced to 130 questions but it is completely a myth. I have a lot of friends around me and they are saying the marks around 145-150 nobody or very less people less than that so dont be fooled by the fake cutoffs it might fall to 140-145 for BC and MBC but for general category there is no possibility below 145 the cutoff will be 145+ for general category. Tnpsc is gonna choose only 60000 -70000 candites for mains exam and think about the number of institutes in tamilnadu they all want to catch more number of students thus I reckon this might be a trict to catch students by saying the cutoff will be less.

NOW, Don't pay mains fees to any institute! If your economic situation is not so good…Official answer key not yet released until 11:26 am 27.05.2022

Step 1: What should you do is have the writing practise at your home upto the results are published and there are a few trusted youtube channels who offer study materials, study in that materials have a perfect pen in your hand and start your writing practices and work for mains exam atleast 3 hours a day. 

Step 2:Study for group 4 for atleast 7 hours a day.This is the only way to succeed because you have already seen the group 2 prelims question paper no expection of easy question in the general studies. You  have to work hard! If you want the appointment in your hands. In my prediction group 4 cutoff will not be less than 170 for even BC and MBC May be SC/ST candidates cutoff will be 165 so everyone should be ambitious in getting atleast 170 question perfectly correct in group 4 exam.

This is what I should say to you cut off for group 2 prelims(not official only in my personal view) General 150, BC/MBC 145+, SC/ST 140 May be if you have pstm or women or ex servicemen or BCM your cutoff will be less that this and it may not decrease drastically don't even image, only  +3 or -3. And guys this is completelly my own opinion. But choosing your way is completely in your hands! Good Luck!!!
