Copper is the first metal known to the humans. It has been used since ages. It helps in boosting immunity, maintaining thyroid levels in the body etc. The water kept in a copper vessel is called copper charged water. It is considered to be very beneficial for our health. According to Ayurveda, it helps in preventing the problems caused by vat, pit and kaf. It is full of antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic and anti-oxidant properties. It is helpful in cell growth and formation of haemoglobin. Drinking this water can fulfill the requirement of copper in the body. Little amount of copper is required by our body. 0.9 milligrams of copper is enough in an adult male and female.

According to Ayurveda, copper charged water should be consumed empty stomach. Two glasses of this water in a day are enough. If you are drinking it regularly for fifteen days then you should take a break of 2-3 days. Excess of everything is bad so do not drink too much of this water. If the amount of copper exceeds the required quantity then it can be harmful for the organs and causes copper toxicity. So do not drink more than two small glasses of copper charged water in a day and do not consume the water kept for about twelve hours.
