Hello friends, Welcome to my new blog. In this blog, I going to talk about Buddhism. As we all must-red in our schools. This religion was founded by Gautam Buddha in the 6th century BC. There lot of disagreement among scholars regarding his life and death according to his belief he lived a life of 100 years. This was a time when our society followed a caste system in which Brahmin is considered as the most superior and caste such as Shudra is considered as lowest in the society but it was Buddhism who gave everyone a status of equality by introducing the concept of “Upekkha” which means equal attitude towards everyone. There are several forms of Buddha but every time there has been an attempt of drawing from the life experiences of Buddhism its teaching act as a structure of spiritual life not until when a book is written name Buddha Charita, According to believes legend predicted a soothsayer was predicted on his birth with the foundation of Buddhism he also declared the four noble truth and eightfold path of this religion. These eightfold paths prevented the midway here midway represent the rejection of all extreme thought, Pleasure accepts this his four noble truths also explain the untouched aspect of life the first of these four truths teach us that there is suffering in life as we all know life is a journey in which we go through a lot of pain and the second truth teach us that the cause of all suffering in life is our greed and the third noble of his teaching is suffering has an end according to his teaching suffering is a process which goes to continue until the life ends. According to the teaching of Buddhists, a person should have a balanced mindset he/she always remains thankful for what he or she has. If we talk about this religion since its origin this religion is spreading at a rapid pace in different parts of the globe according to lots of beliefs that Indian emperor Ashoka who inherited the religion after the Kalinga War played a significant growth of the religion but this religion is not limited to India only it also have a large part of the population in countries like Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Myanmar. So that’s all from me is this blog so see you in the next blog

The founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama, was born circa 563 BCE into a wealthy family. Gautama rejected his life of riches and embraced a lifestyle of asceticism, or extreme self-discipline. After 49 consecutive days of meditation, Gautama became the Buddha, or “enlightened one”. He made this announcement in public at about 528 BCE and gained a group of disciples who became Buddhist monks and traveled throughout northern India spreading his teachings. Buddhism has a strong individualistic component: everyone has responsibility for their own happiness in life. Buddha presented the Four Noble Truths as guiding principles: there is suffering in life; the cause of suffering is desire; ending desire means ending suffering; and following a controlled and moderate lifestyle will end desire, and therefore end suffering. In order to achieve these goals, the Buddha presented the Noble Eightfold Path: right belief, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right occupation, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi—or meditation. According to Buddhist practice, following the Noble Eightfold Path will ultimately result in being liberated from samsara, the cycle of rebirth and suffering. Many followers of this path to enlightenment participated in an emerging Buddhist monastic tradition. Monasticism is a religious way of life which involves leaving behind worldly pursuits and devoting oneself to spiritual activity.
