Now, everyone, Navratri is a symbol of victory of good over when Goddess defeated Demon Mahinshasura after fighting with him for nine days, and she defeated the asura on the ninth day so these days goddess is worshipped. After this victory, the goddess Devtas gave her lion as a symbol of strength, and riding it symbolizes the control embodiment of energy controlled by maa Durga. There is a belief that Goddess stays in every house for Nine days. In states like Bengal, the festival is celebrated as Durga Puja a ten-day festival. The puja is performed in homes as well as pandals which are decorated beautifully since the Navratri celebration in states like Bengal has been so popular not in India but all over the world since the origin of this style of celebration but if we believe some literature of Bengal it may originate in the period of 14th to 16th-century well. I am not sure about that. For me, this festival means a lot these nine bring happiness and prosperity in life.
