Nure Onna is the combination of 2 words; One is Nure & Other is Onna. Nure means wet & Onna means lady, Nure Onna means a wet - lady. Nure Onna is a Japanese yokai, which simple mean is demon, who found mostly in the sea & river - side. According to the legends Nure Onna is the evolving form of sea snake, who is resemble like a female human. (do not campare this with mourned) In mythologycal text Nure Onna is shown like a monstrous being, who is so powerful & she can curse tree's and she feed humans. Nure Onna caries a wooden bundle with her self, which is resemble like a child. Nure Onna request to her victims to hold the child (wooden bundle) & before her victims knows that's not a child, her victims was trapped. Suddenly this bundle became so heavy, which cause victims can't move or can't escape, then Nure Onna haunt her victim & drunk there blood through her snake like tongue.
In fourclerk mythology Nure Onna story is different, which says there is another sea demon (yushi Onni), who haunt human's with Nure Onna. According to the fourclerk mythology, Nure Onna give the bundle to her victims & then she disappear from there, and after this (victim trapped) Youshi Onni appear or came & eat the victim.
Echiko province, which is now called Neggata & Aijue, which is now called fugusima. In the both places birder a river situated, where a young boys team go to collect woods with two boats. The second group boat was flooded in the wrong direction & they seen a so beautiful, so attractive, hot young lady, who wash her hair in the river water. And suddenly they starts screaming (the boat members) & they starts rowing the boat so rapidly in different direction. After some time they found the first group, the first group members asked them - what happens with them? The first group said they seen Nure Onna & after listening that the first group members laughing at them. The first group members decided to go to the other side of river (where the second group seemed Nure Onna) for Investigation. The second group members try to Stop them, but the first group members never listen them & they go to investigate. After they go or after some time the 2nd group members listen there screaming sounds & after this event they (first group) never come back.
