Hello everyone , Hope you guys are doing well and good . by the way if you love science then you must read my blogs . today's blog will be about some very famous people in the history of science
John Dalton very famous in chemistry who gave atomic theory . was born in a poor wearer's family in 1766 in England . He began his career in teaching at the age of 12 , in such a small age wow . and after 7 years he became a school principle . In 1793 Dalton left for Manchester to teach mathematics, physics and chemistry in a college .he spend most of his life there teaching and researching. in 1808 he presented his atomic theory which was a turning point of in the study of matter .
you must be knowing about the Universal gravitation constant which is ‘G’ given by Isaac newton but do you know he didn't find the value of ‘G’ the value was given by Henry Cavendish that is G= 6.7*10^-11 .
He was born in October 10, 1731, in France—, natural philosopher, the greatest experimental and theoretical English chemist and physicist of his age. Cavendish was distinguished for great accuracy and precision in research into the composition of atmospheric air, the properties of different gases, the synthesis of water, the law governing electrical attraction and repulsion, a mechanical theory of heat, and calculations of the density (and hence the weight) of earth.
we know cell was first discovered by Robert Hooke but do you know nucleus of cell was discovered by Robert Brown and Brownian motion was discovered by him .
He was born on December 21, 1773, Angus, Scotland—died June 10, 1858, England, Scottish botanist best known for his descriptions of cell nucleus and of the continuous motion of minute particles in solution, which came to be called Brownian motion. He contributed substantially to the knowledge of plant morphology embryology, and biogeography , in particular by his original work on the flora of Australia
we use a term element do we know who use it ?
He was Robert Boyley who use the term element. best known as a natural philosopher, particularly in the field of chemistry , but his scientific work covered many areas including hydrostatics physics medicine , natural history and alchemy born on January 25, 1627, Lismore Castle, County Waterford
I hope this blog was helpful for you guys. and you learned some thing new
