Jambo!🙋♀️
Welcome to my new blog!🧡 Hope you guys are all good at their homes.
I wanted to share a piece of my mind that has been scrutinized under the eyes of people who keep telling ‘You need to lose a lot of weight or the fat is going to tire you’. This has been written on a general analysis as well keeping in mind of those people who could have been in my shoes as well. You shouldn't be doing or saying anything that could affect someone's mental attitude. So read along to know what isn't right and wrong. 🤎
These are the top things that has been told to be all incorrect.🖤
1️⃣You have to give up Carbs :🍚
Not sure how carbs became public enemy no.1.
Giving up Carbs means no fruits, lentils legumes or grains... what are you going to eat ? Long term low carb diet can mess with your hormonal health, periods and thyroid.
Fitness should be fun not torture. I personally can't see a future where I'll never eat a burger or ice cream.
If this was true how do people lose upto 25 kgs in 3 months while eating rice and roti and more ?
2️⃣You can target fat loss:🥣
The biggest marketing gimmick of all time. Targeting fat loss from one area is not possible. Have you ever wondered why I don't have a 21 days flat stomach program. Because you can't target a specific area.
3️⃣ You can gain fat from undereating:🚫
Who comes up with this stuff ? You cannot gain weight in a deficit!!!! What usually happens is
1. You're put on a super restrictive low calorie plan
2. You do great for a week or so then you binge
3. The binge takes you into a surplus Cycle repeats
4️⃣You need supplements:🍀
No supplements are needed for weightloss. Supplements are needed to say remove common deficiencies quickly but not for weightloss.
5️⃣You need a gym to get fit:💪
A gym is a location. A good workout is how it is constructed individually & how it fits into a bigger program to take you from point a to point b in your journey. It's goal driven. I have worked out at home for 1.5 years now. Just some dumbbells. A gym is great if you want to go to one but you need a good program. Home workouts are as good.
So thats it folks for this blog. Just bare this in mind, “Build a strong mindset. Your body will follow” 💕!
