Motive for this article:

I recently watched “Family Man” series. I'll be like wow..!!  Then some critics about the series I heard at the 2nd season of it.  That is the view of Aryans about Dravidians (2nd season). Then I realized that they show about the big problems happened in India.

Some Hindi actor ( Shahrukh or Salman) praised about the movie “Kaatru Veliyidai”, which is a huge flop all over India. Why they praise about this film? Is they say those things to act in his film? Why him? What he really done that much ? I really have curiosity about him by watching his past films in future.

After a long time, I saw an interview of someone says Mani Ratnam is very brave to talk about the issues which are peaked in that time in real life. Then I watched his films and wondered. What the f***!!!  Even I feared while watching as how bigger problems will happen because of this. And he really done that very well really close to edge of their emotions.

His braveries:

In all the endings, He literally convince us ‘Violence is not the solution’.

1.Nayakan(1987): (amazon prime subscription)

A guy from slum, tries defend the people of slum [Thaaravi from Bombay(Mumbai)] from the Government and other Rich dominant persons. All people were around them are trying to corner them.  So, Kamal needs to do some illegal business to earn money for the survival of the Tharavi (full of tamilans) people.

This story talks about the hatred on the slum people by the society and the problems faced by the slums. How their daily routine has affected? Their struggles to get a basic need from the government.

2.Roja (1992): (amazon prime subscription)

A decoding engineer has taken by the terrorists. To return him to the government, The terrorists came with a bargain of releasing their leader, Waseem Khan.

In this movie, The problems of Kashmir may not be talked out loud. But questions asked by the Heroine, which most of the people in India has. Those are answered here too. May consider as a  overview of the "Family man season 1" but released in the peak days of that incidents.

3.Bombay: (free in Voot app)

A love between a Hindu guy & Muslim girl has  shown here.  The clashes between the two religion are shown close to reality.  Also a reference of the Ramar Temple & Babar mosque also mentioned here.  And the parents calmness of their grand child birth and again But a little bitterness of both of their fathers on each other continues.

Then the clash between the Hindu & Muslim in Bombay are shown with enough brutal.  That little secret  really making us little laugh on us.

Then the clash in Mumbai again heated up by Ramar & Babar issues.  In the final scene, The hero really vexed about these conflicts and says that we don't want any religion leave us alone was really touching.

4. Uyire (1998): (Netflix subscription)

A love story in between the clash of north-east states of India ( which will be focused in the "Family Man season 3".

A Reporter is in love with a tribal girl and he tries hard and to know about her. Without knowing her, she leaves him in vain. Then his family arranges for his marriage. When the tribe girl again comes to his life and he gets to know her,  a serious tension in the film begins. The story of the terrorists/Militants are shown and the reason to become like that are clearly showed here.
