Everyone loves travelling, but even though when they are taking breaks they will be busy with their phones. This place located in Idukki district of Kerala is a must visit spot for like these people.
There wont be a single mobile signal in this village. We will be free from our hustle life. There is only BSNL mobile connection in the village and there wont be any other mobile services. The climate really awesome and the nearest state is Tamil Nadu. In the winter, the temperature ranges from 5 °C (41 °F) to 20 °C (68 °F), whereas in the summer, the temperature ranges from 12 °C (54 °F) to 18 °C (64 °F). In the Vattavada border region, temperatures as low as 4 °C (25 °F) have been reported. We can experience the village in many aspects and spend the days from the busy world. There are many resorts available in a reasonable price. Vattavada is famous for farming vegetables and fruits, most of which it is transported to other parts of Kerala. The place also has an awesome view point and a water fall.
There is also a new road project is coming which connects the place to the Ooty, Tamil Nadu. If this is a success within few hours we are able to get to Ooty. We are entering the village through Pampadum Shola National Park. If we need an adventure we can go for trekking, jeep safari, jungle safari. From Munnar it is around 45kms to Vattavada. With its agricultural grounds and people's settlements, one section of Vattavada provides fascinating natural sights. The Koviloor crossroads, on the other hand, is a small town with a few shops. Because it is close to Tamil Nadu, the people's slang is based on Tamil. Everyone should take in the morning and the breathtaking splendour of the location. In Munnar, Vattavada is the coolest hill station. The sanctuary also offers a magical walk to Kodaikanal, which is about 12 to 13 kilometres from Koviloor hamlet. However, we will need a forest clearance from the Kerala and Tamilnadu forest divisions, as it is now closed for security reasons. So one must surely not miss this aswesome spot of natural beauty.
