To Begin With It, Let’s Understand Disability :
A disability is any condition that makes it harder for someone to participate in a certain activity or have equal access to a particular society. There are more than 1 billion people who are disabled. The number of people with impairments is steadily increasing, in addition to other factors including demographic changes and the rise in chronic health problems.

  1. When interacting with irritating people, be kind and composed: Avoid getting into a fight when someone makes fun of you. A few easy comments can hurt the heckler's chances of becoming famous instead of making fun of the critical statement.
  2. Accept and acknowledge your disability: Accepting your impairment can be quite difficult. Acceptance might appear to be a surrender, a giving up on life and your future. It keeps you from growing, making the necessary adjustments, and establishing new objectives.
  3. Give it your everything: It is best to focus on the small wins and strengthening yourself rather than continually focusing on your struggles or failures. You must find peace because you can be the greatest version of yourself despite your disability.
  4. Stay away from comparisons and acknowledge your successes: Setting objectives and strategies to attain them is the first step. Most of the time, we strive to achieve success as quickly as others do, but it's important to appreciate each achievement and development made at each stage of life.
  5. Making the adjustment: Being disabled can make transferring tough. We all have the ability to take our health for granted until it's gone. You still have control over your life, and there are many ways to strengthen your independence, sense of empowerment, and worldview.
  6. Set attainable goals and exercise patience: Your handicap compels you to acquire new abilities and methods. You might also need to relearn basic skills that you previously took for granted.  Don’t be too hard on yourself. Every little advance counts. You will eventually arrive there.
  7. Request and accept support and help: When dealing with a handicap, it’s simple to feel entirely alone and misunderstood. You might feel tempted to distance yourself from other people.
  8. Discover meaningful activities that give you a purpose: A disability can change many aspects of your identity, leaving you to question who you are, what you're worth, and where you fit in society. Like, creating new interests and hobbies that bring you joy.
