This comes in our mind various time that should I expect anything from someone. We read in books and experienced that we should not because at the end what happens is that we are broken into pieces just because we expected some sort of things from people.
Forget about the unknowns, here I am talking even about the people who are your closest.
Some people just come in your life…stay with you… you share a lot of things…starts trusting the person…get attached to the person…fine..all fine…but where you start going wrong is when you start expecting from the other side. You love someone, you respect someone, take care of them more than yourself…but mark my words, the day when you start expecting the same from the other person, you'll face the reality soon.
It doesn't matter if the second person is asking you to expect from him/her but trust me, don't you dare to….cuz at the end you yourself would be responsible for your tears.
Sometimes it happens that the second person tells you to expect anything from him/her by saying that this is the foundation of your relationship. At that time, you are confused…but I have a trick…that I learnt…because I experienced it not once or twice but many times.
The trick is that…if you do not want to get hurt .. don't expect…and along with that if you do not want your partner to get hurt…start pretending that you expect and trust.👍🏻
I have experienced it myself and I would like to share my experience with all….and here I go…
In my first relationship, I was above all skies and was very happy…I loved him and expected the same from my partner. This worked for sometime but at the end my expectations were so high and he was not putting even 50% of a effort in comparison. This broke me so hard. The relationship was over after some time but left some scars. But it's okay…I learnt a lot.
But it's not over yet, after an year gap…into a serious relationship with the other guy…decided not to expect anything and serious saying, the life was easy. But one day when my partner asked me that why I don't ask for anything…or why don't I have demands. I replied him and told him the reason of not expecting anything.
The explanation he gave after that changed my mind. He told me to trust him , and expect from him and because he loves me , so he is going to fulfill my expectations. If disagreed and then he told me that my past relationship was a failure because of the other person and there is nothing wrong with you…I agreed and started expecting some sort of important things in a relationship like loyalty, love, trust…
But you won't believe, the same thing happened to me again…I was again into pieces…and the reason is not him.. it's me🙃.
Now…I am happily single…and experienced 👍🏻…
