Wounds can happen anywhere, anytime, and at any age. Wound healing is an intricate series of events that involve many different components of our body.Healing wound takes time and requires patience. Fortunately, we have natural remedies for wound healing.

Honey And Hot Water:

Honey helps heal minor wounds because of its healing properties. Also, honey increases the blood flow at the wound site and speeds recovery time. Additionally, hot water boosts the antibacterial effects of honey. Covering your wound with a clean bandage soaked in warm water allows for faster healing and prevents infection.

Saltwater Tincture:

Saltwater tinctures have long been known for their medicinal value. Its application as a salve promotes healing while preventing infection.If you suffer from cuts or scrapes, consider using saltwater tincture to prevent further infections. Apply three drops in each nostril once daily until healed.

Aloe Vera Gel:

Aloe vera gel is a natural remedy that aids in fighting inflammation, increasing circulation, and reducing pain. In addition to being able to treat burns, aloe vera gel can be applied to any open wound before applying antibiotic ointment.When making a fresh batch of aloe vera gel, soak two green aloe vera leaves in filtered water overnight. Strain out the liquid and place the aloe vera leaf pulp in a blender. Blend well and pour into a jar with lid. Place the lid on top and allow to steep for 24 hours.The aloe vera gel should begin forming after 6 hours. Strain the gel and put it into containers. Use it as much as desired and discard after use. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Neem Oil:

Neem oil is another natural remedy that works wonders for skin care. To make neem oil, take 2 tablespoons neem seeds and add them to a bowl. Boil 3 cups of water and pour over the seeds. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes and then strain. Discard the solids. Once cooled, apply the oil directly onto cuts, scrapes, and insect bites. Repeat twice per day for best results.

Vitamin E Oil:

Vitamin E oil is another effective topical treatment for wounds. A little goes a long way. After boiling about 10 ounces of water, add 10 vitamin e capsules. Let the mixture simmer for 30 minutes and allow to cool. Store in the fridge until ready to use. When needed, dilute with about 5 tablespoons of olive oil and apply directly to the affected area. Repeat twice per day.
