The name of the person who introduced the world to the taste of chewing gum is Thomas Adams.  This New Jersey merchant used to make synthetic rubber from milk obtained from a tree named Sapodilla.  From it he used to make toys, masks, rain boots and bicycle tires.  One day in the year 1869, he picked up a piece of rubber and put it in his mouth, and started chewing.  Adams liked the taste of rubber.  ,thought why not add some flavor to it.  He started to convert his thinking.

February like this The first chewing gum factory came into existence in 1871.  In the year 1871, Adams got its patent in his name.  It was named Adams New York Gum.  This was the first chewing gum found in vending machines.  This chewing gum was sweet but it did not have any kind of fragrance.  Then William Regal, a dentist from North America, slightly improved its appearance and taste.  Mixing the fragrance of different types of flowers and fruits in it, launched it in the market.

After this, Doctor Sea Man added a substance called papain to the chewing gum and made it fragrant.  The papacy was not only an aromatic substance, but it was also beneficial to the digestive system.  At one time its popularity had increased so much that the sale of other chocolates in the world market had increased.

There was a huge decline.  With the passage of time, chewing gum began to be made in new tastes, aromas, and shapes.  Today the market is littered with different varieties of chewing gum.
