So this blogs will be a bit different than my other blogs. This one will be on skin care, more precisely on skin care for men. Now, to be completely honest, i dont really have a great skin and i dont take care of my skin as one should. The time of seeing skin care for men as taboo is gone and one should treat their skin very carefully regardless of their gender. And so i intend to start doing the same and i will be sharing with you all the basics of skin care for today…
There are some stuff you need to buy and i'll be mentioning them below..
When we think of a clear skin, we think of a dry skin with skueaky feel to it, which is actually a wrong perspective. Dry skin is not a good thing as it means you have stripped the good oils that moisturize your face. If you have a dry skin, look for moisturizing ingredients in a cleanser. Or if you have an oily skin, go for a gel cleanser with oil controlling materials. Use it in the morning and at night.
2. Moisturizer.
The most common reason for why people won't apply moisturizer to their skin is that it feels very goopy and weird and i agree. So look for a better moisturizer with gel instead of cream.
3. Eye cream
Eye cream is like a secret weapon for a man's skin care routine. If you have dark circles, it can help get rid of them. If you have puffy bags, it can help to clear them. Wrinkles and fine lines, eye cream will make you look fresh. Use eye cream morning and at night after using cleanser.
4. Sun screen
The most important step of all is protecting your skin from the sun rays. It doesn't matter what your skin type is, you have to wear a sunscreen every day. The uv rays from the sun not only effects our skin's cancer, it also boosts the ageing of skin. Look for a sunscreen which has skin hydrating ingredients in it. So you can put it on after applying moisturizer.
And that's all for this one. I am trying to do all of the above myself. And i would sincerely recommend to have a proper skin care routine, i do regret not having one until now.
