Who doesn't find loneliness difficult?! | Writer KR
Loneliness
In May 2021 Sahitya Akademi awardee writer K. Rajanarayanan Kira passed away due to old age, aged 99.
It is noteworthy that the Tamil Nadu government buried the body with respect and a writer received such honour.
K. Rajanarayanan
After Kira's death many articles appeared about him. It was an opportunity for people who did not know him to know about him.
One of the comments made by Ki Ra in the Vikatan interview was relevant to me, so I am sharing it here. (thanks Vikdan)
"He who knows music is lonely... it helps him... He who knows how to write, he who knows how to read knows no loneliness."
Loneliness
Many people don't like being alone and get bored after a day or two. Even with comforts, loneliness is perceived as emptiness.
At a young age, the student hostel has become an environment where you have to get used to all the situation
During the Corona lockdown period, I had to be alone for almost 22 months without my family.
However, the lockdown has made eating a problem and isolation has not been a problem.
Music
Music is everywhere.
Used to it from a young age. Nowadays, after the arrival of internet radios and apps, there are many opportunities available.
And since it has a sound device (Speaker), it will always be singing.
I will be with music in the office as well. It keeps singing on the laptop in a low volume.
Books
Ponni's Selvan revived the lost interest in books, followed by the Amazon Kindle device.
The convenience of being able to carry anywhere, keep as many books as you want, and read even at night is useful.
So, books help when there is nothing to write or watch movies. Very helpful in traveling.
Letter
Since he started writing in 2006 and continues till now (2021) without a break, he seems to be writing something.
Being interested in technology, I am updating and improving this site.
It's never boring because it's interesting and you can learn something new.
The satisfaction you get when you find out through the internet and implement it without the help of others is immeasurable.
So, there is always something to engage in, be it music, writing, movies, books, or the Internet, so you never feel lonely.
What Kira says is true.
Is isolation acceptable?
I have five opportunities to enjoy something so I don't have to feel lonely, so no problem 🙂 .
I consider it a gift given to me by God to be able to adapt to all situations and not to be lonely.
Is solitude okay with you? Hate loneliness?
Loneliness doesn't have to be welcome but can you handle it if the situation arises? Share it.
